Loki’s Muzzle and Cuffs
So, I just read today that Amora can’t do any magic if she’s gagged and bound. Is that canon perhaps why they decided to bind and gag Loki for the final scene of Avengers? Cause in the candid photos, it’s Loki and Thor standing there, holding the tesseract, and Loki’s not rocking the Hannibal Lecter vibe.
I’m betting yes. Plus, it just looked cool. SO MUCH KINK.

All I need now is Nick Fury and the set is complete, and honestly? I just really wanted Black Widow, Hawkeye, Coulson and Loki. I mean, I ADORE the others, but those were the ones I really wanted! Bwehe! Would trade an extra BW, Hawkeye, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk or Bruce Banner for Fury, though!! <33

Cosplay - Quake - Gauntlets
Wooooooo. So I’ve been doing a heck of a lot of research on how to make armor with EVA foam. I’ve read about using gesso, white glue, Flexibond and Modge Podge to make it so that the foam can be painted and all sorts of other crazy things. What I’m trying to create is Quake’s costume from The Avengers comic, as she might have appeared if she’d made it to film. It’s my own translation, which is both fun and frustrating!
As you may or may not know, Quake is the current head of S.H.I.E.L.D. as well as Nick Fury’s protege. She, along with Nick and Black Widow, is one of the few agents to have Level 10 Security Clearance. Plus, from some genetic damage from her bastard of a father Calvin Zebo, she can cause seismic tremors that can create earthquakes or explode hearts.
Put it plainly? Quake’s an effin’ badass. She’s also physically based on Angelina Jolie from Hackers, which is when I fell in love with her. I will have short black hair for this DragonCon because it’s my style now (and because I’m doing another raven haired badass, , so I had to do the costume. I would love to do Black Widow, but I’m realistic. I don’t have the resources to get a jumpsuit exactly like hers made for me, and SOMEONE will have it. XD I’d rather do my own interpretation of a character well than do a replica badly!
